About Me - Robin Kick MW

American by birth and European by culture, I have spent over 20 years in the wine trade as a wine buyer, fine wine auction specialist, educator, wine judge, writer and marketer. Wandering the vinous world, I have followed my palate seeking out delicious wines - sometimes collectible and rare, sometimes unusual - as well as exciting regions and esoteric grape varieties. In 2014 after 9 long years of study, I achieved my long-time dream of becoming a Master of Wine. Currently living in Lugano, Switzerland, in the land of palm trees and snow-capped mountains (and vines!), I am always looking for the next adventure whether in wine, food, travel, photography... wherever the wind blows me.
